G2 Digital has hired The Unit to develop the website and mobile applications for Vegas Club Casino as the brand enters Alberta’s regulated iGaming market.

The agreement places the brand’s website, mobile apps and account infrastructure at the centre of its Alberta expansion.

Announced on September 2, 2026, the deal covers frontend and backend engineering, mobile development and user-experience design. The platform will use White Hat Gaming’s Player Account Management system, according to iGaming Future.

Vegas Club enters a new provincial market

Vegas Club Casino appears in the Alberta iGaming Corporation’s official directory of registered iGaming sites. The directory identifies G2 Digital AB, LLC as the brand’s operator.

Alberta’s regulated online iGaming market opened on July 13, 2026. The province uses a two-part oversight structure:

  • Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis regulates operators.
  • The Alberta iGaming Corporation oversees the market and manages commercial agreements with private operators.

Operators must register with Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis and sign a commercial agreement with the Alberta iGaming Corporation. They must also integrate with the regulator’s centralized self-exclusion program.

What the technology deal covers

The Unit will work on both the customer-facing products and the underlying software. White Hat Gaming’s Player Account Management system will provide the core account platform, according to the announcement.

For players, the practical test will be whether the finished service handles registration, payments, identity checks and responsible-gambling controls smoothly.

Those functions must operate within Alberta’s regulatory framework. They include:

  • Age verification and identity checks
  • Geolocation controls
  • Responsible-gambling tools
  • Financial controls
  • Customer dispute procedures

The arrangement gives G2 Digital an external development partner while it uses a platform designed for regulated-market deployment. The technology may also support expansion into other North American jurisdictions. Each province and state, however, has separate licensing and compliance requirements.

Competition will extend beyond market entry

Alberta’s framework is intended to shift online gambling activity from offshore providers to privately operated platforms under provincial oversight. The Alberta iGaming Corporation has estimated that unregulated offshore providers previously captured about 70% of the province’s online gambling activity.

That figure gives new regulated operators a large potential market, but it does not guarantee player migration. Vegas Club must convert its registration and technology investment into a service that meets provincial rules and competes with the brands already listed in Alberta.

The announcement did not disclose a specific Alberta launch date. The brand’s presence in the Alberta iGaming Corporation’s directory confirms its registration status, but the listing does not establish the timing or scope of every product rollout.
