We take the protection of your personal data seriously. This policy describes how we collect, store, and use your information under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Bulgarian law, and applicable Canadian privacy law, including the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) where it applies.

3. Information We Collect
We may collect the following information:
- Automatic Information: IP address, browser type, visit time (via server logs).
- Cookies: To remember your preferences (e.g. dark mode, language) and analyze traffic.
- Newsletter: When you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect and store your email address. We use it solely for sending news and do not share it with third parties.
- Push Notifications: If you enable notifications, we store a unique browser identifier (endpoint) to send you news alerts.
- Advertising and contact inquiries: When you send an inquiry, we use the name, work email, company, website and message you provide only to respond and handle the inquiry. We do not store a separate copy of the form in the site database.
- Operator link analytics: When you open a featured operator link, we record the operator, time, and a pseudonymous one-way fingerprint derived from the IP address. The raw IP address is not stored in operator analytics. This cookie-free measurement remains active when the browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals.
4. Advertising & Third Parties
We use third-party advertising providers (e.g. Google AdSense) and analytics (e.g. Google Analytics). These services may set their own cookies and collect information (such as IP address) to personalize ads and analyze usage.
You can manage your personalized ad settings via your Google account settings or tools like Your Online Choices.
5. Data Retention
We retain your data only as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected. Subscription data is kept until you unsubscribe. Log files are kept for a limited time for security purposes.
Operator click records are deleted automatically within 200 days of collection.
Newsletter unsubscribe
Use the personal unsubscribe link in any email from us. It opens a protected confirmation here. If you no longer have the link, contact the newsroom from the subscribed address.
6. Data Security
We use SSL encryption and other technical measures to protect your data from unauthorized access.
YouTube connection for editors
Administrators can choose to connect their media channel through YouTube API Services. With consent, we receive permission to upload the site’s own videos and check the selected channel, upload processing and visibility. We store the channel ID and name, encrypted access permissions and temporary upload IDs and status. We do not receive Google passwords.
We use this data only for the connection and publishing. Google receives the selected video, title, description, visibility and access permissions. Our server, hosting and database providers store the data to run the site. We do not sell YouTube data or use it for ad targeting. Readers do not need to connect a Google account.
We check authorization and refresh channel data daily, even when uploads are off. We delete stored YouTube video and upload data after 28 days. After 6 days without a successful authorization check, we disable the connection and delete its data. We keep our own record that an upload was started, without a channel or video ID, to prevent another automatic upload.
An administrator can choose “Disconnect and delete YouTube data” in settings. We stop new requests for this site, request Google revocation and delete local YouTube data as soon as possible, within 7 days. If Google does not confirm revocation, we show that and retry without extending the deletion deadline. A request already sent may finish on YouTube. This button does not delete videos already uploaded to YouTube.
Revocation may affect other connections from the same Google account to this app. Each site checks access separately and daily. You can also revoke access from Google’s permissions page. Use the contact on this page to request deletion. Manage uploaded videos in YouTube Studio.
