Fanatics Betting and Gaming launched a unified app on September 2, 2026, but Ontario customers will not receive the full product. The Fanatics Sports & Casino app combines sportsbook, casino and prediction-market services under one account and one FanCash balance, according to the company.

Fanatics’ U.S. one-account strategy does not extend to Ontario, where the company is currently listed only as a casino operator.

What Fanatics launched

Fanatics said the new app gives customers one place to bet on sports, play casino games or trade event contracts, depending on their location.

Existing customers can access the service through an app update. The company said account details, funds, FanCash and Fanatics ONE status will carry over.

The launch covers Fanatics’ U.S. operations. The company said:

  • Its sportsbook operates in 23 states and Washington, D.C.
  • Its casino product operates in selected U.S. states.
  • Fanatics Markets is available in 22 states and four U.S. territories.

Ontario receives a narrower product

Ontario’s regulated gaming directory lists Fanatics Casino through FBG Enterprises Canada Inc. It does not list Fanatics Sportsbook or Fanatics Markets.

Players in Ontario must be at least 19 and physically located in the province to use regulated internet gaming websites. They may manage their accounts from outside Ontario, but they cannot place wagers while outside the province.

As of September 1, the iGaming Ontario directory listed 49 operators and 84 regulated gaming websites. Fanatics appeared only under casino.

That listing means the company’s broader U.S. app strategy does not automatically create access to its sportsbook or prediction-market products in Ontario.

Prediction markets remain unavailable in Canada

Fanatics Markets’ official availability page lists 22 U.S. states and four U.S. territories. No Canadian province appears on the list.

Fanatics Markets also operates under a different legal structure from a provincial online casino. The company says it introduces customers to event contracts offered through a U.S. derivatives exchange. Access depends on location, eligibility and geolocation controls.

Its customer terms require users to be U.S. citizens or legal residents with a U.S. address. Users must also meet a minimum age of 21.

Why the distinction matters

Fanatics is presenting the app as one commercial ecosystem. Ontario access remains divided by provincial regulation.

  • Ontario: Fanatics Casino is listed as a regulated product for players aged 19 and older who are physically in the province.
  • Fanatics Markets: The company lists U.S. states and territories, not Canadian provinces.
  • Sportsbook access: Ontario’s current regulated directory does not list Fanatics Sportsbook.

The practical result is a two-tier rollout. U.S. customers in eligible locations can receive a combined betting, casino and event-contract experience. Ontario customers receive only the products approved and listed within the province’s regulated market.

What could change next

Fanatics’ September 2 announcement does not establish a Canadian launch timetable for Fanatics Markets or an Ontario sportsbook.

Any expansion would require the relevant provincial approvals and a listing within Ontario’s regulated market.

For now, Fanatics’ one-account strategy is a U.S. development. In Ontario, the company remains a casino operator rather than a single-app provider for sports betting, casino gaming and prediction markets.
